Mia has a purple hat,

Ben waves to a paper bat.

Paper pumpkins on the wall,

Orange ribbons down the hall.

Mia brings a tiny drum,

Ben asks, "Can our friends all come?"

One small lantern, warm and bright,

Leads our little dance tonight.

Clap for the pumpkin, tap for the bat,

Turn with Mia in her purple hat.

Tiptoe forward, wave, then stay,

Smile at Ben and say, "Hooray!"

Step by step, our friends have made

Mia's happy pumpkin parade.

Ben's white sheet has orange shoes,

That is how we find our clues.

Mia spots a paper cat,

Sitting by a cardboard bat.

All our costumes join the line,

Every turn is yours and mine.

Clap for the pumpkin, tap for the bat,

Turn with Mia in her purple hat.

Tiptoe forward, wave, then stay,

Smile at Ben and say, "Hooray!"

Step by step, our friends have made

Mia's happy pumpkin parade.

Put the little drum away,

Take a breath and gently sway.

Hands are quiet, feet are slow,

Now we're ready: here we go!

Clap for the pumpkin, tap for the bat,

Turn with Mia in her purple hat.

Tiptoe forward, wave, then stay,

Smile at Ben and say, "Hooray!"

Step by step, our friends have made

Mia's happy pumpkin parade.

Wave goodbye and take a bow,

Our parade is resting now.
